Ericsson: Vodafone Egypt chooses Ericsson to enhance network quality in Greater Cairo

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has signed a three-year managed services agreement with

Vodafone Egypt, to deliver network field maintenance services and improve the

quality of its network in the greater Cairo area.

The agreement is the first of its kind for Vodafone Egypt, which has chosen to

outsource its network field services, and enhance the quality of its network in

an effort to bring the latest services to Vodafone subscribers.

Osama Said, Chief Technical Officer, Vodafone Egypt, said: "Ericsson has proved

With more than 36.3 million customers subscribed to its services, Vodafone

Egypt's newest partnership with Ericsson will see the company support the

National ICT Strategy. Vodafone Egypt will improve the quality of its network in

the greater Cairo area using Ericsson's state-of-the-art technologies and

innovations to achieve operational efficiency and boost network availability.
